About the Image(s)
Another taleidoscope image. I recently celebrated my 76th. Shot with a Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 24-70mm f / 2.8 L lens with a taleidocope, on a tripod 0.3 sec at f / 2.8, ISO 200. I think this is more successful than last month’s image. What do you think? (If you want to see the effect when it is stopped down, go to DDG 80)

Hi Doug, I really enjoy the colours and brightness of this image and that taleidoscope does make a wonderful mish mash of shapes. It is a fun way to play with the art of photography. I can imagine this with a dark fram placed around - either real or digital - to finish the edges.   Posted: 09/10/2023 21:18:53
Fun Image, Doug. I like it. If the lens were less pricey, I'd buy one myself ! Great exposure. It would be fun to see some people photographed with this lens.   Posted: 09/10/2023 22:40:27
Hi Doug, nice bright colors and brightness. What a fun lens to explore and be creative. Did you take a class from Charles Needles? I attended one of his session during a PSA convention.   Posted: 09/16/2023 06:36:11
I hve not taken any courses with Charles Needle, but have heard a lecture by him at Nature Visions (now Mid Atlantic Photo Visions) & and an on line lecture.   Posted: 09/25/2023 11:12:51
