About the Image(s)
Shot with a Canon R6 Mark II, 0.4 sec at f/ 10, stacked from 18 images in Helicon. I had these leaves for some time, & finally got around to shooting them. I thought the other side would be better, but did not have enough separation. What do you think of this composition?

It's gorgeous, great color, great composition, background, lighting, etc. I wouldn't change a thing !!!!
Is Helicon a program?

I love the complexity of such a simple subject. It's lovely.
Did you consider taking that little "blip" off the middle leaf in the center?
I appreciate leaving it (no pun intended) on the leaf, but I admit, my eye went right there, but then it made me notice the others (not a bad thing). Just wondering about your thought process.
Did you do any other post-processing?

I just noticed that little blip that Susan mentioned -- it could be a pin, holding this leaf in place? I would remove it also.   Posted: 07/08/2026 00:24:30
Doug is a pro at photographing these Hosta leaves. This trifecta provides for an excellent composition. Well done Doug   Posted: 07/09/2026 02:44:07
