About the Image(s)
Autumn here in Delaware County, PA this year was one of the most vibrant in recent memory! I shot lots of "foliage" photos - including this one at Tyler Arboretum. I photographed handheld with my Nikon D750 plus Nikon 24-120mm lens at 90mm, f/8, 1/160 sec, ISO 640, and one stop under meter reading. In LR, I adjusted exposure, vibrance, clarity, shadows, highlights and added a vignette.

Mark, I just love this image ! The colors are magnificent and I love the textures. You could take a little off the top but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Great exposure, you nailed it !! I really think this could be printed and framed and put in my living room !   Posted: 12/11/2025 02:46:34
Mark, texture and color of your leaves, along with very little damage by insets, made me wonder if they were plastic. A wonderful job of selecting a great branch and leaves. Ahhh. Solved, my picture this app shows the ID as Oak Leaf Hydrangea and I just put it on my wish list and it should do well in my NH. The vignette is perfect because it doesn't look obvious. Well done Mark.   Posted: 12/12/2025 16:36:09
Gorgeous colours Mark and exceptionally clear focus, showing all the leaf veins and making for an attractive image. Using a subtle vignette was a smart choice because it draws the eye to the centre of the image where most of the beautiful colour is concentrated.
If it were me, I'd try to remove the smaller blemishes in Photoshop with the Spot Removal tool so the viewer's eyes can wander around the image undistracted. But it's not me and you may prefer it au naturel.
Regardless, nice shot.   Posted: 12/14/2025 18:00:34

Mark, To me. It's definitely excellent shot. You choose the spot to include most fall colors. The side lighting angle is just perfect to reveals leaves textures nicely. Excellent post processing in LR with very smooth vignette.   Posted: 12/19/2025 03:43:42
