Seeing Many by Meredith Bain

February 2025 - Seeing Many

About the Image(s)

This is a multiple exposure - something I discovered only recently that my camera does. I have a setting in my camera's menu which allows many exposures on one image. This in turn gives plenty of creative opportunity. Here it was of some beautiful tulips in spring and I moved my camera slightly for each exposure. The resulting image is produced as a JPEG in camera which I then downloaded and lightly edited in Lightroom. I liked the looseness of the image, the overprint, almost as if it is a stretch of floral fabric. Not everyone's cup of tea perhaps but your thoughts are most welcome.
Fujifilm X-T4, ISO 100, 80mm macro lens, f5.6, 1/1500 sec, handheld.

I think this is so pretty. I love the colors, it makes a great abstract. It would make a nice print on fabric ! Very nice !   Posted: 02/16/2025 22:14:25

Hello Meredith,
I love the bright colors and the movement of the tulips in your image. This is a nice example of multiple exposures.   Posted: 02/23/2025 03:15:57
