About the Image(s)
The attached image was captured with a Nikon D7200 in mid October. Shot with a 175-500 mm lens at f/4.5 with an ISO of 560. I should note that number 6 played the entire 90 minute game. Just amazing!

As a point of note the photo was taken at a club rugby match.   Posted: 02/06/2025 16:04:20
Hi Peter,
One of the things I've been learning in my camera club is that the title of an image can make a huge difference. So when I see "Arm Tackle", I first think of Football (American style, not soccer). So my ignorance about the shape of a rugby ball stood out here, I thought they were round !
I think this is a great action shot, but it is really over-exposed. Also I wonder why the numbers on the shirts are backward? And is one of the players an amputee? Just lots of questions as I look at the image. So great action, and I think you could do some more work on this image that would have it be clearer to the viewer.   Posted: 02/16/2025 22:20:22

The first thing that struck me with this image Peter, was its over exposure...easy to correct.
Next I looked at the action and you have caught all players in an interesting moment in time, story wise. The two faces we can see give an idea of the effort required and make the image worth viewing.
Like Donna, I wonder why the numbers are reversed - did you flip it? - and whether number six is armless in which case playing the entire game is as amazing as you state.   Posted: 02/21/2025 08:13:25

Hello Peter,
Nice action image! You captured the effort and emotions of the players well. The player with one arm adds so much to this image and makes the viewer appreciate his participation in the game. You have addressed the over exposure.   Posted: 02/23/2025 01:46:07
