Hi Anna, what a beautiful picture of your granddaughter. And she is being such a good model for you. I like the treatment you have given it creating a warmer glow around it. Doing that has increased the hotspots on the hrs and there are some in the distance too. I wonder if Lightroom could do a good enough select subject to enable you to restrict the golden light to her and reduced the background highlights a bit? Posted: 07/05/2026 22:37:10

The processing beautifully emphasizes your granddaughters expression by darkening the background and adding warmth, creating a more intimate portrait. She stands out much better than in the original. For a final touch, I would slightly brighten the face and reduce a few of the bright highlights in the skirt & background to keep the viewer's attention on her eyes. Posted: 07/06/2026 01:09:07
Hi Anna. I agree this is a lovely picture of your granddaughter. She looks very happy and she really pops out from the background. I like the lighting around her hair but agree there are some bright highlights in the background, skirt and hand that could be toned down just a little. Lovely colours! Posted: 07/06/2026 03:27:19
