About the Image(s)
I was out taking some late-night street photos on Nashville's Broadway, where the streets are packed with people going in and out of clubs. This shot caught my eye when I noticed the guy's expression as he watched the woman in the sparkly dress walk by. The way he was so fixated on her, made for a really interesting moment. The shiny dress in the front and the guy's look in the background tell a funny/ interesting story.

Wow Keisha, another fantastic capture. Love the POV….looks like you were down low and have got the area of interest to the male gazer. Really well done…an apt social statement about street action. His expression is perfect, I got the feeling it's not sleazy, he is like a fan seeing his idol. Just stopped in his tracks, mouth agape. Like the crop and cloning out the guy on the right is a good choice. Like the soft focus on her and that she frames him nicely.   Posted: 11/01/2024 03:10:11

Hi Keisha, I a bit late to give you feedback .. but I agree with everyone and their comments. I love Peter's work ! If it was my photo I would do what Peter suggested with small adjustments. Bring the color of her dress up a bit and remove the blue banner or darken it. Thank you for making me think about street photography differently.   Posted: 11/04/2024 16:38:57

You get my good eye award of the month. Tells a story and i like the excellence of deleting the guy on the right. Makes for a better story telling.
Also, your ISO of 40000 is certainly bold and proper. The waist level camera angle is perfect.   Posted: 11/05/2024 18:04:16

Hi Keisha, I agree with the others. Very nice image and the removal of the sign does remove that distraction.   Posted: 11/07/2024 17:26:41

Candid street photos when done well gives some great pictures and ss you say the picture tells an interesting story. I think you were right to take out the man on the right. In the image below I have cleaned it up a little more than Richard did, I have also slightly increased the size of the man to make him more prominent.   Posted: 11/12/2024 11:31:26

Keisha, you definitely captured the moment. I enjoy seeing street images that tell a good story. This one definitely does that. I agree with Richard's and David's adjustments. Your timing was perfect in capturing the man's expresion. It looks like you previsioned the image because of the angle at which you captured the image.   Posted: 11/13/2024 14:57:16
