Erik, yes they are in love. Perfect hug and the eyes semi closed intensifies the loving act. Image is sharp. Good that you were able to get both birds in focus with f/8. The only missing information is the focal length used. Posted: 04/02/2026 19:13:40
I am jealous, I have always wanted to see one in person. Serendipity. The background is nicely blurred, the colors are very good. Even though I know it is feathers the one with his eyes closed looks like he has a smile. They are darling. Posted: 04/02/2026 22:43:25

Is this a pair of burrowing owls or a pair of Siamese twins ?
I was watching a documentary last year about urban wildlife in the Florida region and these owls featured in the programme and fascinated me,I had never heard of them before.
