About the Image(s)
Our club recently visited this Catholic shrine in downtown Detroit. It was constructed in 1873. This was an iPhone 17 Pro Max shot using Adobe Project Indigo camera app processed in Lightroom Mobile.

This is a beautiful rendering of Detroits many houses of worship. Pleasing soft color, sharp, offering a strong leading line, thanks to the isle. Last but not not least, stunning leaded glass windows. Bill, perhaps you might consider preparing a Table Top book of these pleasing buildings in your area.   Posted: 12/08/2025 20:39:43
This has a 3D look and the whole image shines. The pastel colors with the wood gives a tone of bygone elegance. The smallness of the church makes it seem intimate. The eye just goes through the pillers and lingers on the colorful glass windows.   Posted: 12/09/2025 03:50:26
Very nice shot Bill. I've recently purchased an iPhone 17 Pro, but have not had a real chance to use it to make this kind of image in comparison. I really like the colors, the structure and the details, especially the details at the front of the church. These make photography so much easier and spontaneity. I did take the liberty of removing the small portion of the last pew on the right as it was a bit of distraction in the corner. Thanks for sharing.   Posted: 12/10/2025 22:02:35
Bill, I agree with Erik. By now you must have quite a collection of images from many of the buildings in Detroit and should result in a nice table top book. I like the symmetry created by the slight crop gary did, and sharpness of the image. It seems to me that our big boys toys are going to stay home....   Posted: 12/13/2025 16:13:06
Great shot Bill. I like the symmetry, and I think Gary's slight crop has added the final touch. Great detail and sharpness from front to back. I agree with Erik's comment that you should consider making a book of your church images from Detroit.   Posted: 12/16/2025 16:28:57
