About the Image(s)

I took this about 2 weeks ago while walking along the the Bridgewater Canal towpath the Autumn colours were not quite this developed so I added an Orton effect this was not a pre-set I used several masked layers to strengthen the Autumn colours and add a touch of blur there was a very light low lying mist so I just enhanced it slightly the mist was dissipating quickly as the sun broke through. The narrow boat is one of the local hire boats the Rose Thorn based at Preston Brook marina


How I did it


Canon EOS 5D Mk III lens Canon EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM f6.3,1/200s, ISO 1600 focal length 90mm Raw file adjusted in photoshop,added an Orton effect using several masked layers,cropped all round and opened up the shadows slightly,cropped all round and a 2 stroke border added.
