About the Image(s)
This Castle was built in the 13th Century and was a strategic fortification for the Scots. It is located at the confluence of three lakes. The British Navy reduced it to rubles in 1719. In the early 20th Century a retired British Lt. Col. began the process of restoring the castle to its last-know configuration. The restoration took 20 years to complete.
We toured this on a day that was more cloudy than this image shows. I shot this hand held at 1/800 sec, f/16 and ISO 400 with my Canon R5 and my Canon 16-356mm lens.
About a week later, facing the same direction, I took this sky picture at the same time of day. I post-processed in LR Classic using the new mask breakdowns achieved by clicking "Landscape". I used Point Color to add saturation to the water. Lastly I replaced the sky in PS.
