About the Image(s)
This image was created many years ago in one night photography workshop with the Camera Club. This is downtown Miami and the causeway. The twist was done by one of the members using burning iron mesh sponge.
Used a Nikon D800 with the Nikkor zoom lens 24-70 mm f/2.8 @ 32 mm and these settings: ISO 100, f/10 and 5 seconds exposure. The image was PP in LightRoom and croppe.

This is a fun image and I have seen something similar in the past. I presume the person doing the spinning moved around because I can see no shadow of him/her in the image?   Posted: 07/05/2025 15:20:47
Guy, you can see the silhouetted person just bellow the circle of fire.   Posted: 07/05/2025 17:02:49
Thanks Isaac. I see him/her now.   Posted: 07/06/2025 12:56:12
I really like the image with all of the various colors in front of the dark background of the city. These images with someone twirling a light source often to catch and hold my eye as I consider how it was done. I might've cropped it in a little bit left side where there is no Foreground lighting from the spinning iron mesh sponge. Thanks for sharing.   Posted: 07/08/2025 23:39:04

Very interesting image. I agree with Gary, I would have cropped on left to the starting of the spinning light. Love it!!   Posted: 07/10/2025 16:49:56
Hi Isaac
Well if this does not immediately grab your attention nothing ever will.
Fabulous colourful backdrop matched by the foreground special effects,I love the spiral patterns,an image that would cheer you up with all the wonderful colours so well produced and presented.   Posted: 07/15/2025 19:20:34

Isaac, you and the flashlight person created a marvelas artsy image. The light configuration propells strong viewer IMPACT. I agree with Gary, cropping the left hand edge to meet the the start of the painting, in my openion, will strengthen the image.   Posted: 07/21/2025 14:20:26
A colorful inventive image. I barely noticed the person spinning. I would not crop as I feel going from left to right creates an optical illusion of short to tall. At first I thought they were fireworks.   Posted: 07/26/2025 20:05:07
Nice work. The addition of the flaming steel wool makes this image. Excellent composition too   Posted: 07/27/2025 17:16:29
