About the Image(s)

How I Did It
These are two brothers that never split up. One really has crossed eyes, and it is the belief that the other brother stays with him for protection and helps him with hunts. They are playful together.
Technically not good but one of my favorite photos. Just redid it in Topaz Photo AI after cropping. I then took it into Lightroom for additional exposure settings, then Photoshop to remove some leaves around the mouth and then Color EFex for Darken/Light Center. We are scheduled to go to South America in a few weeks, so I hope to be able to take more recent photos

Vella, that is a most interesting story illustrated very nicely by your image. Good and sharp and well cropped. I would just add one comment. Can you take out that bright vertical piece of grass(?) that looks like it is piercing the head of the cross-eyed jaguar?   Posted: 03/01/2025 11:10:55

This may be the most interesting "story" picture I have seen in all the years I have been doing DD. I feel so bad for the cross-eyed cat. And I marvel at the love his sibling has for him. I feel that with Guys small fix and your PP work you have a wonderful image. Get some great shots in South America.   Posted: 03/07/2025 12:46:01

Awesome, let me know how you like it. Just keep in mind that your maximum aperture is now probably F9 instead of F6.3. There will be times when you have to let your ISO go a bit higher than you have had it, especially early in the morning. Enjoy!   Posted: 03/11/2025 07:46:58

Wow! What an incredible story of the two cats. I believe that you have made the necessary adjustments to the image for presentation to this group. The only thing that I might add is a slight vignette to the edges to darken them slightly.   Posted: 03/10/2025 18:44:00

Vella, great image with a story. Indeed brotherly love. Normally in nature the weakest link succumbs. Guy's tweak improved the image.   Posted: 03/11/2025 06:37:31

Vella, you were at the right place at the right time and created a loving story of brotherly care and love. Guys input added strength to good strength to your masterpiece. Hope your nest trip to that area will provide additional Nature stories for you.   Posted: 03/11/2025 16:32:28

Hi Vella
Wow what a story and an image to match beautifully composed and presented as good a nature image as you will see when you look at the colour of the background you can see it matches the animals fur they must be almost impossible to spot when they are in the undergrowth. Its a winner for me have a great trip I can't wait to enjoy the images you bring back from this trip.   Posted: 03/17/2025 11:58:13
