About the Image(s)
I named this image “Hanging On” because that’s what came to mind when I first looked at this aging Japanese anemone. The start of my 3 week vacation took me to the magnificent Longwood Gardens to a workshop with Out of Longwood. We spent 4 days in the gardens photographing all kinds of nature. This area of the gardens really caught my attention and I spent a lot of time there one afternoon. This image was made handheld with my OM1-2 with the 90mm macro lens attached at ISO 200, f/3.5, @ 1/640 sec. Aside from the usual slider adjustments in LR to highlights, shadows, and a bit of white and vibrance, I also removed the neighboring stem and bud in the lower right corner. I must say that since starting my photographic journey in late 2017, I’ve been a Nikon girl. But I love the OM system. Still experimenting with multiple exposures and photo stacking as right now by Nikon does it better, or at least, I have better luck with my Nikon. More to come on that… Comments always appreciated.

There are plenty of people who will say that you should have focus stacked this image so that it is "tack sharp" from front to back.
I believe you have followed the artistic path, with the front and back petals of the flower in soft focus while surrounding the "tack sharp" centre of the flower. Just the place where you want the viewer's eye to settle.
Well done and I like the crop you have chosen.
