April 2026 - Macao Karting Racing

About the Image(s)

Macao Karting Circuit covers nearly 50,000 square meters. The track is 1.2 kilometers long and 10 meters wide, making it one of the most thrilling karting tracks in Southeast Asia and the only karting track in Hong Kong and Macau. The newly paved track meets internationally recognized Class B racing circuit standards, allowing drivers to showcase their skills and experience the ultimate speed thrill.

I handheld camera and used a horizontal panning method to the shot.

Stanley, you have come up with another excellent photo.
Both the karts are tack sharp and nicely fill the frame. The panning of the camera has worked to perfection.
This is a great action photo.
Well done   Posted: 04/08/2026 02:03:26

Perfect planning, choice of settings, background and result. I'm taking notes but I think your skills would be hard to match.   Posted: 04/08/2026 20:19:09

Hello Stanley,
Your use of panning, shutter speed and a small aperture have worked very nicely in this dramatic image. The fact that the two carts are just a few cm apart really adds to the drama of this image.
My only suggestion would be to crop down about 1/4 of the way into this image to eliminate a near-duplicate blurred (far) wall to the closer one. That would create more of a powerful panoramic style image that would be fun to have printed and framed.   Posted: 04/15/2026 10:48:25
