About the Image(s)

Thanks for the well wishes last month. I haven’t been shooting much but I recently went to a farm stand that only opens late November through around May with beautiful, fresh produce so I got inspired. This image was captured with my Nikon Z7-2 while mounted on a tripod. A 24-70 f/4 lens was used at 38mm, f/7.1 for .5 seconds along with a Godox AD400 Pro flash. As this was a fairly large spread my background was not wide enough so I added some in PS. I also increased the size of the canvas on the top and right size to help balance the image with the bottom and left side. In LR, I adjusted the white balance and made minor tweaks to highlights and shadows. I like this image as it reminds me that good wholesome foods help to make us feel better.

You have captured and the arranged the "fresh produce" very well and the mix of red, orange and green on brown makes a lovely image. I prefer the exposure/luminance and hue on the reds and greens in the original which appears more natural. However, the rest of the image looks perfect post-editing.   Posted: 12/05/2025 04:25:48

Hi Karen
I like the composition very much. It looks like you had fun arranging this. But, as Piers noted, I agree that the saturation of the colors in the original appear more natural - the orange of the carrots, especially. Glad you were able to add the background to the vacant area on the right.
As a very minor detail, I would have taken the red rubber band off from around the stems of the Radish leaves and "fluffed" those leaves a bit to add more volume to that side.   Posted: 12/08/2025 00:50:37
