About the Image(s)
Back at the end of January one of my Camera Clubs organized an ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) workshop. I’m not sure what’s going on in your area, but ICM seems all the rage here. I have seen some I like, but most don’t really do anything for me. So the jury is still out as to whether I like the effect or not. I have toyed with it a few times, and for me personally, it seems a hit or miss. I’ve attached two images taken in the same location. One with one of our camera club member sitting on a chair viewing her photos is pretty much straight out of camera. The other one across the lake had a bit of the usual lowering highlights and increasing the shadows a bit. I used the zoom method on these and I think I captured a fairly impressionist image in both. What are your thoughts? And are you doing any of this in your locale? Comments are always appreciated.
Just as an aside, have you seen the email pertaining to the convention this year in Oregon? Some of the day trips look wonderful. Have any of you ever attended any of the annual conventions?

I have never been to one of the conventions, but we have had a few in our Club who regularly attend. If my husband were in better health, I think I would attend, especially since they are always in great areas to stay longer for touring.   Posted: 04/02/2025 21:41:12
