I visited one of the famous Hindu temples in Singapore with my Indian friend. I was able to take photographs with the permission of the temple authority. There were many constraints to get clear pictures. Anyway, I could get the record shot to understand the practice of Hindu religious ceremony.

The ritual along with the focus, mood of the players real gives this photo some life.

Wow! Beautiful capture of the ceremony. Nice that the temple allowed you to photograph it. I like the tones of it. The only suggestion would be to remove or tone down the shine in the upper right hand corner. A very interesting photo. Posted: 12/15/2021 17:24:40

If the smoke from the pot was whiter I think the image would have more impact. Still, even now. it is a compelling shot and tells the story well. Posted: 12/18/2021 16:44:32
I like this just the way it is. I agree that the line of light is a distraction but I don't see that you could have taken this from a different position and cloning it out would make this ineligible as a true photo journalism image. Posted: 12/18/2021 18:19:46
