At first glance this simply looks like a flipped image. But it's actually a real shot and the deer are almost perfect twins. I like it for the impact the shot has upon initial viewing.

Fantastic capture! Love the symmetrical composition and the perfect timing of both deer looking in opposite directions-it almost looks like a mirrored portrait. The natural lighting and the vibrant green grass make the soft fur textures really pop. Posted: 08/18/2026 06:58:20
This isn't necessarily the best pose you would want to see in an image but the interesting symmetric overrules it in this case. Good find. I probably would agree about the feet. I do like adding the stroke but I might not have used one that is that wide. Posted: 08/18/2026 12:00:54
Deer butts! I like this. Love that they are looking in opposite directions. Usually deer all look the same way. The green grasses make a good background. I'm thinking the one on the right is mom and the one on the left is an older offspring. I don't miss the feet. Posted: 08/19/2026 22:27:01
