About the Image(s)
Decided on a change of pace image. Usually its a scenic or insect. This open shop was in Jacksonville, Oregon. I thought it might be cropped some but decided against it.

I like it! Looks like they been in business awhile. Yesteryear, they don't make shops like they use too. Trophys on the wall just add more flavor.   Posted: 08/03/2026 01:49:58
This is fun!! I'd enjoy wandering around there. Floor is kind of uninteresting compared to the wall but you wouldn't want to crop it.   Posted: 08/17/2026 13:37:17
Fantastic photograph! Love the rugged, authentic atmosphere and how you captured all the incredible details in this vintage garage. The lighting is slightly dark near the floor and the doorway on the left, but the overall composition and rustic feel are outstanding. Excellent shot!   Posted: 08/18/2026 06:53:17
This is great. Everything in here belongs. I wish my tools were in a neat order like this. The grease spot on the floor shows the use that this shop has had. The door on the left does tend to draw my eye away but I wouldn't want to have it cropped out. Could this have been interesting as a pano to include the hoist showing on the floor?   Posted: 08/18/2026 11:48:07
So much to study. My eye settled on a brighter spot just off to right of center. Look at all those wrenches!   Posted: 08/19/2026 16:25:26
Love this. The tonality is vintage and it captures the shops some of us remember from our youth. I agree with Dennis about my tools being that neatly arranged. This image gives the sense of years of hard work happening there.   Posted: 08/19/2026 22:23:44
