I am interested in how secretive and intimate this feels with the bird peeking out from the dense green foliage-the detail on its eye and patterned feathers is exceptionally sharp. The leaf right in front blocks a good portion of its face, but that peek-a-boo framing adds a great sense of nature in action. It is an unique spot, though cropping in slightly tighter on the eye could bring even more drama to the expression. Fantastic wildlife shot!   Posted: 08/18/2026 07:04:33

Without someone pointing this out, I can see how it would be easy to completely miss it. I would normally think that I would like to see it without the leaf covering the face but that is important in the story of it hiding. I agree with Than's comments even though you have already cropping in closely from the original image if you could without looking too much resolution.   Posted: 08/18/2026 12:25:14

Since the eyeball pops right out at first glance, the fact that so much of the bird is hidden is not a problem. Caption could be "Hidden In Plain Sight". Interesting to note how well image help up despite large crop.   Posted: 08/19/2026 16:35:57

Nice! I really like how the eye is sharp and framed by the leaves. Gives the sense of the bird peeking out at the humans passing by. It could be cropped a bit on the right and maybe a little on the bottom, but, not too much.   Posted: 08/19/2026 22:33:23
