About the Image(s)
Arizona and Utah have some magical places on the backroads. This area is called Candyland. fThis is in the Staircase-Escalante National Monument east of Kanab. BLM Road 500, It is so deserted of traffic that I was surprised to see the car on the road.

Wow! How cool to get out and away from the milling masses. Beautiful image with the colors. I like the composition that leads you back into the frame. The car gives a sense of size and proportion.   Posted: 12/12/2025 22:42:22
Colors are great. Car gives perspective. Road is a leading line. I would hang this one.   Posted: 12/14/2025 13:40:00
Sharp and scenic! Though I would go the other way with the car as I don't think it ties in with the natural beauty. Storyland for another title.   Posted: 12/17/2025 16:25:48
Wow! It's a very super landscape photograph. I absolutely agree with the comments of Joey, Sharon and David. No need to add my voice. What a lovely image!   Posted: 12/18/2025 00:53:37

Very nicely composed image Neal. There are many different "stories" or "visual interests" in this image - the windy road coming down from the hill top, the different colored and shaped rock configuration. The car coming down the hills adds more "life" to the whole image. Great capture!   Posted: 12/18/2025 07:45:46
This has everything. Sky, curvy road, unusual rock formations, sharp, strong colors. Thanks for the detailed explanation on location.   Posted: 12/18/2025 14:01:33
