About the Image(s)

Many of the residents of Peggy's Cove are lobstermen. Each one has a boat a different color and their marker flags were the color of their boat to make it easy to ID. This scene hasn't changed much in decades. Sony a1, Tamron 28-75 2.5 lens, ISO 250, f6.3, 1/400.

Nice capture of a scene well known. Great color in the boats, composition with the curve of the bay and sharp. Might consider darkening some of the shadows in the water to give it some more depth.   Posted: 12/12/2025 23:02:32

I love Peggy's Cove. I agree with Neil about the water. Like the colors and composition.   Posted: 12/14/2025 13:38:14

Scenic postcard scene. I shortened the water lead in a bit with my crop.

Small village feeling comes through well. Either a small crop of water or darkening it would be useful. David has it about how I see it.   Posted: 12/18/2025 14:04:08
