About the Image(s)
Bathing in the Ganges River is a deeply symbolic act in Hinduism, representing purification and spiritual cleansing. This image was taken on my last visit to Varanasi, India in December 2023. Actually it was an old photo.

Very interesting but also a very busy image. Not saying I don't like it because I do. All over there is something interesting to check out. I especially love the golden figurine barge. It has great color, sharpness and definition.   Posted: 07/07/2025 16:05:50
It is busy but interesting probably because it's so different for we Westerners. A lot to look at and study. You must have many Ganges images to choose from.   Posted: 07/18/2025 11:01:40
It's so different from what you would see in the states. It's busy but the colors and different activities going on are fascinating. I could look at this for a long time.   Posted: 07/19/2025 14:41:32
I really love the color which really sets the detail, contrast off. So much going on.   Posted: 07/21/2025 19:21:19
What an interesting image of an important cultural practice. And so many different people, some in modern western dress and some in more traditional Indian dress. Well done.   Posted: 07/21/2025 21:12:02
I am surprised that you were able to get all this in the frame without getting just a portion of anyone included. I like how the whole beach scene tend to frame the Golden item.   Posted: 07/24/2025 13:08:11
