About the Image(s)

This image is in an apple packing warehouse where workers spend hours sorting apples according to quality and size. My father raised apples and this was in our packing shed.

Interesting image. The curves of the conveyor lead you right in. What hard work. Also, the angle show the size of the operation. Good job.   Posted: 01/13/2025 19:12:43

Like Joey said. A well chosen point to shoot from. Handheld at 1/6 for a crisp clear steady focus through out the picture. Excellent depth of field for f/4. Brings back memories as I use to work in food processing in my 20's. The same somber faces for a loooong boring day whilst looking forward to your 10 minute break to go have a cigarette and then head back to the line.   Posted: 01/14/2025 01:56:08

I find it interesting as a study in machinery and assembly lines. There is a center of interest with the lady in white so maybe darkening the foreground would bring more attention to her.   Posted: 01/19/2025 00:01:23
