About the Image(s)
I climbed Mount Shuksan in the North Cascades of Washington some years ago. Revisiting it for photography allowed some images to be combined. Sony Rebel XSi at 75 mm; 1/40; iso 200. Processed in Photoshop.

The image has great impact. The lighting seems to bother me a bit. If it's night time, as the sky suggests, why are the hills so bright. I wish you could show what images were combined.   Posted: 12/16/2024 12:51:51

It's a beautiful picture but it doesn't look quite real. The sky is so dark yet the glaciers are so light in places. I'd like to see what images you combined as well as Sol.   Posted: 12/17/2024 15:06:31

This is an impressive scene. I like the composition you have created with the rocky outcropping of the mountain.
I can only guess what you might have done with your images. It appears that you might have used multiple layers and then removed part of a layer to reveal the one below, such as a darkened layer with the sky on top. The halos around the mountain area seems to suggest this.
A suggestion I might have, if something like this was done, is to make a selection of the horizon to separate the mountain from the sky. This could keep any editing from bleeding between the areas. I have recently thought about changing the Opacity of a layer mask to my liking. Try to keep a little softness between the selection and the background.   Posted: 12/21/2024 13:14:07

A solid image through out, foreground to background. Lots of detail, sharp. I like the dimensional lighting on Shuksan. Though the sky seems a bit unnatural, dark side.
The glaciers look a bit larger than they are now. 20 year old photo?   Posted: 12/22/2024 01:34:38

I like the image of mountain ranges, glaciers, soft light and blue sky. All details, foreground, background and glaciers are the unique subject of this landscape. We can not get all perfect points for landscape photography because of the changing environment continuously.   Posted: 12/22/2024 03:39:58
