Maple Pass by David Robb

November 2024 - Maple Pass

About the Image(s)

Nikon D750, 56mm, 1/500 sec, f/10, iso 100.

Larch Madness hike. North Cascade National Park. About a 70 mile drive from where I live. I went for the event and the hundreds of hikers, all friendly of course. On my way up these wispy clouds caught my eye coming in on a new front for a change in the weather.

It is a very perfect landscape photography. Dancing cloud angel in the beautiful blue sky is the key subject of the image. I love it.   Posted: 11/07/2024 05:44:33

Those are great clouds. I think there is a name for that type which I wish I could remember. Good eye to grab this shot.   Posted: 11/09/2024 12:47:56

Nice capture of the clouds. I might like to see more definition in the mountains.   Posted: 11/15/2024 22:46:39

Love the clouds! I also like the greenish foreground leading back to the larger mountain range. The cloud really pops. Well done.   Posted: 11/20/2024 00:19:23

The clouds are spectacular. Think the mountains could be a bit lighter. There's very little detail there.   Posted: 11/21/2024 13:15:34

Great clouds. They do show up like that here once in a while. You might be able to lighten the shadow areas a bit more and you might want to see how you would like to crop a little off the left to give a little more balance to the scene.   Posted: 11/21/2024 20:25:18
