As usual, an excellent image Than. The combination of a very sharp image with excellent lighting and interesting action of the ants makes for a spectacular capture. The depth of focus is very good. I'm a bit surprised that 1/125 of a second exposure worked so well. Perhaps all the lighting was from the flash.   Posted: 10/06/2024 22:05:25

Lots of live action in that still photo. If thats possible. Good shot!   Posted: 10/08/2024 22:25:08

This tells the story well. Simple lighting and basically two colors. Can you try it as a horizontal with slight angle to the leaf and see what you think?   Posted: 10/13/2024 20:12:39

Interesting image. Well done. Good detail and the story is there. Those are some serious ants. Do you know what kind they are?   Posted: 10/14/2024 03:56:37

Great image. I also like the activity you show with the ants. I wonder if you might have lost some fine details in the ants when the noise was removed. I like the look you achieved but it does seem like they look sort of plastic. Could this have been done by negative Clarity?   Posted: 10/14/2024 12:32:46

Well exposed with good color. Like Sol said, it would be interesting to try it as a horizontal.   Posted: 10/16/2024 15:22:56
