Sharp interesting image of marmot. The foreground rocks with the algae add a lot. The background is appropriately blurred. Removal of some of the distracting weeds from the left front of the image would help the image.   Posted: 10/06/2024 21:59:30

The catch light in the eye makes this a very real fellow. His body is at a perfect diagonal. Good detail in fur. I agree with Neal about the small weed. The Remove tool could handle it in a moment.   Posted: 10/13/2024 20:08:04

Love marmots. Good image. Love catching the back foot. Might lighten up the face just a smidge.   Posted: 10/14/2024 03:44:13

The weed does draw the eye. If you wanted to show the animal in it's habitat, leave it in. If you wanted to hang a print on the wall, I would get rid of it. I might like to see a little more of the scene at the top and left for a more pleasing composition.   Posted: 10/14/2024 12:23:57

The eye of this lovely marmot attracts me well. Lighting, details, composition, clear background and sharpness of the marmot encourage the overall image perfectly.   Posted: 10/14/2024 15:04:53

Nice shot! What bothers me is the lighter spot on the right. I keep wondering what caused it. Love the claws on the back foot.   Posted: 10/16/2024 15:20:50
