Being fairly new to macro, I am loving this whole new world I am discovering! For this image I used a table top background stand with a black fabric background. Using a photo daylight balanced fluorescent light with a flood hood, I back lit the orange so the veins of the orange would show. I used a close pin to pin the orange to the inside of a glass vase. A square or rectangular vase must be used as a round vase creates too much reflection. I filled the vase with Club Soda to create the bubbles.
The image was shot in manual mode with a Sony a7iv body, Sony 90mm Macro lens, at f22, 1-sec. ISO 400.

Cheryl, if you are new to macro, we can look forwards to some stunning shots I'm sure, because this is lovely in my view, not a beginner result at all.
I've often wondered whether to go to a Sony system, I have a friend who gets the most amazing results, I'm often amazed.
