About the Image(s)
This month I decidedto show some fall colors. Aspens are clones, and each grove is
its own single plant. The photo shows how the clones can have different colors.
Taken with Canon EOS 77D at f/11, 1/400, ISO 400. 47mm

I was immediately attracted to your photo. The colors are gorgeous and the composition is beautiful. I love the different colored layers in the foreground, middle ground and the background. Awesome!

Very nice photo, Leslie. Love the fall colors and your composition. Did you do much in post to enhance the fall colors? I know from my experience with aspens in California that they can display a wide variety of yellows and oranges. Great shot!   Posted: 11/06/2023 19:21:36
Dehazed, cropped and sharpened. Not much else. The colors are quite accurate. Our blue skies in autumn are the bluest blue. And aspens range from yellow to orange. This little grove is probably known only to locals as it is well off the tourist track and one has to hike in a ways to find it.   Posted: 11/07/2023 10:25:39
Nice shot. And, the info on the clones was interesting. Photographing Aspens in Colorado is on my life list!   Posted: 11/10/2023 10:01:51
Your composition of angles and triangles really show off the colors in this photo. Interesting information about how the aspens grow.   Posted: 11/15/2023 10:29:09
What a spectacular image!! And a meaningful explanation about Aspens. When I visited Denver, Colorado a few years ago we photographed many Aspens and our leader talked a alot about them. But your simple description brought back fond memories of that trip as well as reminded me about the clones. The composition is lovely and the colors magnificent ! Thanks for sharing.   Posted: 11/22/2023 15:51:53
