About the Image(s)

This is the Fontaines de la Concorde in Paris, I took this image in September 2019. Camera Canon 6D, Tamron 28-300mm lens at 86mm, ISO 100, 1/800 at f6.3.

This image is a composite of two images. One of the original images, the one with the young woman bathing, is attached. That image was ruined by distracting elements in the foreground, fortunately, I had another original image that was "good for parts". I could not just merge the two images and get the final product as the two images were not taken from the same spot because I was in a moving double deck tour bus when I took them. However, in Photoshop, using two original images and doing some cutting, pasting and resizing I was able to create the finished product.

Great idea. I see you lightened the faces of the gods of the fountain.
I just thing the woman is a bit lost in this large scene. How about this crop?   Posted: 11/04/2021 23:12:52

Hello Stephen, I like your suggestion. After reading the comments I see that there are a few alternatives that might improve upon what I submitted. Thanks.   Posted: 11/22/2021 10:02:11

For me the story is the people. So, I took it into Luminar AI and simply made it into landscape format and geve it a little vignetter. Oh, yes, jazzed up the color for more impact.   Posted: 11/10/2021 15:44:50

I see your point Chuck. I did not like the people but after reconsidering I think they add to the image. I will have to work with it. I don't like the car in the background and I prefer the image with the bather not intersecting the statues in the background. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the comments.   Posted: 11/22/2021 10:08:06

I like the way you composed the capture. I think the woman in between is like an added sculpture. You did a great job matching up. I would not have known. I was trying to figure out how you enlarged the photo and kept the intricacies. Nice job.   Posted: 11/16/2021 20:58:36

Great composition with the subject matter. I also like how the moment was captured.   Posted: 11/30/2021 20:10:05
