Nice capture of a beautiful morning sunrise. It does work well breaking the rule of thirds. I have always thought that rule sometimes needs to be modified and it shows here. Exposure perfect. Keep up the good work.

Hi Jill, I think you have captured a beautiful sunrise and much more. I think that a great sunrise is nice but by itself it is not very interesting, your inclusion of the dock and the person on the dock make this both a beautiful sunrise and an interesting image. I like the colors and the composition, I think the diagonal line of the dock helps to move my eye throughout the image. I also really like that the water has some slight ripples and is not completely smooth.   Posted: 07/08/2021 07:42:12

I like how the person in the image is captured by watching the sunrise. I see it as adding a sense of mystery.   Posted: 07/08/2021 19:35:53

This is a beautiful moment! The whole picture is divided into upper and lower parts by the horizon and the bridge. The reflections of the sky and the water echo each other. The longitudinal bridge column adds layers to this moment. My first feeling when I saw this photo was how lucky I would be if the person in the picture was me.   Posted: 07/12/2021 13:49:24
