What a very nice image. You have presented a viewing angle of a scene most would walk right by and never consider. Beauty from what most would consider as lacking beauty. I like the way you have put the background out of focus, but left enough hint of structure to suggest distant mountains and gathering storm clouds. As I look at the image I can feel the dry heat.   Posted: 05/04/2021 09:17:12

Very dramatic image. I feel the yucca is responding to the turmoil of the storm around it by the bending of the sword-shaped leaves with wind or confused by it. Very inspiring image.

Interesting interpretation, Gary. Now I notice that only the leaves on the taller plant are curved. Next time I'm out there I'll try to remember to notice if that is the normal growth pattern.   Posted: 05/07/2021 13:25:25
