Recently, while on a trip to Merritt Island I had cranes in a motel parking lot. Could get the birds but had cars and buildings I could not get rid of. Fog might have helped! Love this shot. The background compliments the birds who are in great focus.   Posted: 05/03/2023 09:06:37
Thanks Ginny. I forgot to add that this was shot at The Celery Fields.   Posted: 05/03/2023 09:32:19
Nice tones and exposure. Very complimentary to the feeding birds.   Posted: 05/04/2023 15:37:02

Lovely pairing captured! On my monitor the levels were pretty flat though. I sucked it into Capture one and brought down the contrast while really pushing up the saturation with a bit of upward tweaking on the midtone brightness and contrast. Then I adjusted the highlights/shadow levels and then dipped down on the curves to bring a bit more warmth in-- could possibly mess aabout bit further to darken back down the greenery but you get the general idea I'm sure.

Hi Jack. What an awesome shot and edit. I love the color mood, DOF (background to foreground), composition and the finish look. No suggestion. To me, you have done an excellent work.   Posted: 05/24/2023 00:43:29
