I love the softness and clarity of this image! The bushes and background set them off!   Posted: 05/02/2023 15:05:01

Great capture Frans. I love the expression on the parent bird. It's as if she's saying do you want this or not? The wing motion adds so much to the image. I would suggest cropping some from the top to more emphasis the main subject. Well done!   Posted: 05/03/2023 09:37:34

Great capture and composition. I like the nearly sq format as it adds to the story of their environment.   Posted: 05/04/2023 15:34:35

I just realize cropping is one of important key factors in successful image. I also learned about negative space for nature photography from our new friend LC Boros last month.

Thanks if you see my aim adding story to the environment for the square crop.   Posted: 05/23/2023 23:46:19

It looks like there is a light shining on them. Is that your doing?   Posted: 05/13/2023 06:58:08

Yes. All of my images are edited in LR, PS, both or even other applications. That's the fun I enjoyed so much for my retire time. To me, that's the difference between 'taking pictures' and 'creating pictures'. Thanks for asking Ginny.   Posted: 05/23/2023 23:37:15

Lovely Capture: nice sharp details and the levels look great on my monitor. My only suggestion would be to crop even tighter and possibly forgo the square frame for a landscape orientation to place the subjects on each side of the frame.

As a matter of fact, I purposely crop square for this post to include more trees at the bottom for negative space in nature photography as you suggested last month. :)

Anyway, thanks for your comments LC.   Posted: 05/24/2023 00:28:37
