About the Image(s)
I was out trying to photograph Pigeon Guillemots and soon discovered why they were laying low. I have never been able to get a Peregrine in flight, but they are a beautiful Raptor.
Sony A1, Sony 200-600 @ 600mm, f6.3, ISO 1600, 1/2000 sec. Processed through Topaz Gigapixel and Sharpen, then heavily cropped.

the back drop (tree) creates a perfect setting. Love the detail on the Peregrine. The lighting set it off beautifully.   Posted: 08/01/2022 08:43:38
Really like that shot. Nice processing work. Impressed that you could run it through gigapixel and not have it look plasticky like mine do sometimes. How far off the ground was the falcon perched?   Posted: 08/06/2022 15:20:07
Thank you. About 200 ft. away   Posted: 08/07/2022 13:26:21
Super image Dan. Would increasing the saturation, specifically yellow colour make it bright and highlight the peregrine? Maybe just a bit of blur of the branches over the bird's head not take the viewer away beyond the bird? Perhaps I am nitpicking....Very nice image.   Posted: 08/08/2022 07:48:57
Hi Dan. This is a perfect shot and edit. I saw partial and subtle sharpening to the bird face and body. Well done.   Posted: 08/16/2022 01:45:47
