I was out trying to photograph Pigeon Guillemots and soon discovered why they were laying low. I have never been able to get a Peregrine in flight, but they are a beautiful Raptor.
Sony A1, Sony 200-600 @ 600mm, f6.3, ISO 1600, 1/2000 sec. Processed through Topaz Gigapixel and Sharpen, then heavily cropped.

Really like that shot. Nice processing work. Impressed that you could run it through gigapixel and not have it look plasticky like mine do sometimes. How far off the ground was the falcon perched? Posted: 08/06/2022 15:20:07

Super image Dan. Would increasing the saturation, specifically yellow colour make it bright and highlight the peregrine? Maybe just a bit of blur of the branches over the bird's head not take the viewer away beyond the bird? Perhaps I am nitpicking....Very nice image. Posted: 08/08/2022 07:48:57
