About the Image(s)

This is one of the 'antelope' orchids. So named for the twisting horns. One of my favorites.

Very nice specimen. I am wondering if you might expand the composition on the right to show the complete inflorescence. Nice dof, but can you let us know the f stop, sensor size and lens or how you achieved the dof.   Posted: 01/10/2022 18:45:40

What a beautiful flower. I like the colors and the exposure. To me the upper leaf s are interesting but seem a bit soft. I find that flowers are difficult to get enough DOF without focus stacking, which is something that I would love to learn.   Posted: 01/11/2022 19:42:34

Ginny, Nice colorful subject. I think you could of cropped the flower on the top right and bottom to bring us into the flower.   Posted: 01/15/2022 11:17:58

Stunning orchid nicely set off by the dark background. Personally I would have moved the leaves out of the image and tried to get all the flowers in. Perhaps cloning out the one on the bottom right.   Posted: 01/16/2022 10:23:07
