What a nice shot! Would cropping the tree out improve or not? When I hold my hand up to take out the tree the shot is softer.   Posted: 07/07/2021 15:10:38

I had the initial same thought, however, after I tried it I liked seeing the tree in the photo.   Posted: 07/07/2021 16:41:31

Hi Andrea, Enjoy the blossoms and the monument adds to the image, however with two points of interest I find myself conflicted moving from one to the other. The light area on the bottom left is distracting and I would personally crop it out leaving part of the tree trunk. The latter then creates a useful 'stop' to keep you looking into the image. The problem then is that we have cut through the main group of cherry blossom which is the whole point of the image. Try to keep the monument separate from the tree blossom so that it is enfolded by it, not hidden.   Posted: 07/21/2021 05:41:15

I agree with Alan's comments. I tried cropping the photo, top and most of the truck of the tree on the left and it looked better to me. Great photo thank you for posting. Dan   Posted: 07/21/2021 13:45:29
