Do you think the out of focus flower in lower right is distracting?

I love that the bird and the flowers are basically the same colors but the bird still stands out! The shallow depth of field really makes this work.

The focus is great - you can see the individual feathers!

As to your question sometimes I feel 'yes' and sometimes feel 'no'! Until you pointed it out I was not bothered now that you pointed it out it bothers me.   Posted: 06/06/2021 11:33:10

What a beautiful image with the color combination, the sharpness of the bird and the blurred out background. I do think that the flower is distracting, and I wander if the right side( in front)
of the bird wad cropped in tighter or cloned out, would help the bird stand out.   Posted: 06/07/2021 08:06:06

Thank you for the helpful comments. I will try to darken the out of focus flower and add a vignette to further isolate the subject.   Posted: 06/07/2021 08:29:19

I really like the colors of this photo and the flower the bird has in its mouth! I agree, the blurred flower in the front is distracting.   Posted: 06/15/2021 11:26:09
