About the Image(s)
This bird is a Blue-Gray Tanager. I took this picture this year in Costa Rica.
Sony a7Riii, Sony 100-400 mm lens, ISO 2500, 400 mm, f/5.6, 1/1000 sec.
Picture was taken from the 2nd floor balcony, I was almost on the same level as the bird. Cropped and made basic adjustments in the Lightroom.

Nice Shot Marina! Beautiful bird.
Wonderful Color, Sharpness and Pose.
The only thing I would do differently is crop the left side in more and try to eliminate the side branch.
Excellent Image.

Bill, Thanks for your suggestions. I was actually considering exact same edits and decided to keep the branch to frame the bird. It is an easy edit and I will definitely try it.   Posted: 11/12/2023 11:03:10

Nice image and color. Would like to see less of the left branch and tighter crop. Highlights seem a little blown out on the head. Blurred background is nice   Posted: 11/12/2023 15:00:59
