About the Image(s)

This photo was captured during sunset time at the bottom of Tsing Ma bridge in Hong Kong, it’s across the sea were the coastline is a good view for photography. I used Fujifilm GFX 50Sll and Hasselblad HCD 100mm lens, F/8 1/25s for capture this image. Enrich the color of sunset, highlighted the bridge foot, coast as well as the water by Photoshop.

Very nicely post processed. I like what you've done to the shoreline in cutting back on the shadows. IMHO I'd use a gradient filter to tone down the red a tad but would keep the top 1/3 of the sky the way it is. The foreground of choppy water is something for one's taste - some wold favor of more glossy water area. What's the story here? How the hand of man is strk compared to the richness of Nature? At the bottom right of the pillar I'd get rid of the cyan. Nice moody image, makes me think of Stranger Things.   Posted: 06/19/2022 17:56:04

Louis, such an interesting image. I want to know what's at the top! Love the intensity of colors and the lines of the architecture and the sky. It comes across as a bit painterly, but that may be the effect you're looking for. Definitely holds my attention.   Posted: 06/20/2022 21:44:33

Hi Louis, nice shot. Especially the color of the photo is very impressive to the viewer. You have cleverly brought the shadow of the area under the bridge to light up and bring out the details. The subject of the photo is a bridge, but I can't see it clearly, it looks like a tower. I'm not above the photo to describe the bridge. In my opinion you have achieved impressive colors, this layout is called balance but the shooting position is probably a bit tight. Thank you for sharing   Posted: 06/29/2022 22:12:14
