A number of years ago I was watching kids run through the daffodils managed by a local church. One of those heart melting moments watching the innocence of childhood. I love that picture for those reasons.

But I can’t show the photo as I don’t know the family…

I’ve been wanting to retake the photo without anyone. Just the daffodils, the cross and that big tree in the background. Unfortunately the daffodils have not bloomed just yet and it looks like I won’t have an opportunity to retake the photo this year. So AI it is… and it seems to have done a good job of removing the people. It did take a few tries in a few areas.

After removing the people, I wanted the yellows and greens to be strong and the cross to show strongly. I also dropped the saturation and exposure of the tree to make it a strong backdrop to for the cross.

My ask of everyone is how this could be improved? My goal one day is to return and retake the photo.

Brian, you have succeeded in creating that innocence of childhood memory. Key to it is removal of people, but would including one running child change things too much? The 5.6 f-stop may have cramped your depth of field?   Posted: 03/17/2025 00:39:07
