About the Image(s)

Bryce Canyon – Fall, October 22. Old iPhone 6s. Nothing interesting in the creation story. Not too bad, I think. You tell me.

Hi Gene,
Your image is beautiful with different layers of colors. The composition works well. I found that the rocks on the right side have darker colors and seem that they have been cut or collapsed. I heard that the climate change has posed a grave threat to the rock structures in Bryce canyon. Your image could be used as a story telling to the viewers.
I'd prefer to darken the rocks in the foreground a bit more because it seems to contrast with the dark and cloudy sky.   Posted: 05/18/2023 00:21:04

Breathtaking image! My husband's favorite spot, too. Any shot of it seems other-worldly, but yours well captured the contrasts that serve to showcase the gorgeous colors of this scene. I just think it might benefit from slight sharpening.   Posted: 05/23/2023 11:37:23

Gene, it's a nice image; The sharpness and the colors of the rocks make for a peaceful picture.   Posted: 05/26/2023 11:26:38

It's a favorite place of mine as well Gene. Your image is a little different than the typical shot we see from the viewpoints. I think the sunlight poking through on the mountains in the middle ground becomes the subject here; the rock formations merely frame the scene. The dramatic clouds provide a nice touch as well.   Posted: 05/26/2023 17:41:15

Breathtaking vista! I can't add much to the comments above - other than I'd love to have a chance to visit - sound pretty amazing. Great colors and layers!   Posted: 05/28/2023 08:27:20
