About the Image(s)
Mavic Pro, ISO 100, shutter speed 1/2600 second. I took this at a local park on a day when we had a nice amount of snow. The original is pretty underexposed which is good because the details in the snow were preserved.

Lou,
Nice shot looks very cold. I was wondering if you took any photos from the other side with the sun behind you? Taking pictures in snow looks to be diffacult to get a good exposure.Looks like a fun day in the snow,

Thanks for the comments Alex. I did not take any from the other angle, I'm not sure if there was a logical reason for not doing so.   Posted: 05/10/2023 17:04:30
I liked the scene and capture. Quodos on the detail in the snow and the WB looks good. I would have considered using CAF to delete the two figures on the far left side, or just cropping n from the left   Posted: 05/08/2023 12:22:27
Hi Pete, I agree that cropping off the left would improve the image. Thanks for the comments.   Posted: 05/10/2023 17:05:13
Lou,
What I like best about your photo is how you optimized the exposure WB to whiten the snow and retain its texture. I wonder what it would look like to basically crop out the left half and then further crop the right half to make a pleasing closer view of the scene. Not a better view, just an alternate view of the scene.   Posted: 05/10/2023 13:18:50

Hi Don, I like you suggestions for cropping. I think it would be a better view. I appreciate the comments.   Posted: 05/10/2023 17:06:17
Yes, the snow texture is really impressing. Maybe I would have waited a bit to have more "action" on the slope. Most people are either on the top or already at the bottom so for me it is too empty the big white slope. But still it is an action photo.   Posted: 05/11/2023 10:09:44
Thanks for the comments Janos. I agree with your analysis.   Posted: 05/24/2023 10:43:01
Very fun scene, the snow texture is great. Maybe take a page from Pete and add lots of people to the scene⦠lol   Posted: 05/24/2023 09:08:29
Thanks, that's a great idea.
