About the Image(s)

Here is my photo taken yesterday, at Pont D’en Gil, Menorca island.
T=1/200 f/2,8 ISO=100 Altitude 82 m

It was a beautiful day, 3 or 4 people flying with their drones, enjoying the landscape and the perfect weather.

Interesting image, I like the composition and subject matter. It looks like a wonderful place. I think you have handled the post processing well, the sky looks good and I think the sharpness is good. In my opinion I think it could be just a touch brighter in the foreground.   Posted: 06/06/2022 16:44:49

I would have liked just the arch, and maybe low enough to see thru it and something on the other side.   Posted: 06/09/2022 14:44:08

Yes, I have also pictures from a lower point but those looked not so interesting. At a certain moment I even wanted to fly through the window but I am happy I was coward, so I have my drone with me now.   Posted: 06/15/2022 23:50:02

We didn't get any great light that day while we were flying the drones. The light was great just before sunset but I think you had put your drone away by then and we were all shooting with our cameras. I agree with Pete in that I think it would have been a better composition if you had come in lower and shot just the arch, along with perhaps the end of that peninsula. You did a good job with increasing the color and the saturation, but you have almost lost the fact that there is ocean in the upper left corner. I would try to save that horizon line (I wonder how this would look with a sky replacement with a few clouds). Also, you have more on the right in the finished image than you do in the original, so I'm wondering if perhaps you put two panels together in creating the finished image.   Posted: 06/15/2022 17:24:27

Indeed, we had only a few minutes of beautiful sunset and sky and that was a trade-off, so I have nice camera photos but I did not have the time to fly again (nor batteries). You are right with the left up corner, I thought that was the sky but no, it is the sea.   Posted: 06/15/2022 23:52:35

Looks like a great place to fly a drone! I would have wanted to fly thru that arch too, and I would have been a coward too. Where would the sunset be? if it was visible thru the arch, that would be a nice angle.   Posted: 06/27/2022 14:41:37
