About the Image(s)
This is the Glass City River Wall which is currently being completed in Toledo. Info about the wall and artist can be found at https://www.glasscityriverwall.org/
This is one of the early images I took of the project. I have followed the project since the beginning and I will submit some more of the later images in the months to come.

Good blend of tones and colors. The diagonal composition works great.
I am unable to see the connection with the original images submitted.   Posted: 12/04/2021 12:52:24

Hi Bob, yes I can see the confusion. I wondered when I submitted the pre-art image if anyone would be able to make heads or tails of it. The original image, pre-art, was taken from the north, that image was fairly easy to get. The image of the painted silos was not easy to get and I would not have bothered trying to get it had it not been for the art work. The tall rectangular silo looking thing is the reference point for both images, it is on the north end of the group of silos. I hope my explanation helped. Thanks for the comments.   Posted: 12/04/2021 16:19:39

Lou, I really like your image, and the work the city has done to turn it into a work of art. To repeat Bob, the diagonal layout is great for this subject. A straight on with the flowers centered would not have been nearly as effective.   Posted: 12/09/2021 12:13:16

What a great capture all the way around Lou! I love the colors and the flowers, the side angle gives it so much depth. I love seeing the structures on top of these silos. Must be crazy to work on top of those at that height. I love how you can see the power plant in the far distance. Gives a real industrial feel to the area. Nicely done.   Posted: 12/15/2021 08:33:14

Thanks for the comments Lisa. I used to be a rock climber but heights still make me queasy, I would not like to work up there. I have taken more photos of the work progression, which has stopped now with the cold weather.   Posted: 12/26/2021 09:18:04
