About the Image(s)

The photo was taken in near Pointe Vincente, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA with Catalina Island in the background. I like the diagonal of the rocks at the base of the cliffs and how clear the water is. The image is one of 68 taken during an auto 360-degree panorama sequence.

Also shown are the GPS coordinates as viewed using the Map module of Lightroom Classic. It says the Altitude is -239.9 ft. Since the drone is not at a negative altitude, I assume the water is 240 feet below the drone. Is this the proper interpretation?

Photo Info:
Mavic Pro
1/290 sec
F/2.2
ISO 100
Altitude 239.9 ft.

I like the composition, save for the white building in the upper right.

Re: the altitude reading, did you descend from the launch point 239 feet prior to photographing? My drone shows me the altitude above and below the launch point.   Posted: 07/09/2021 00:11:56

How did the panorama turn out? The editing of this image is well done, but I'm not sure what the subject is for the photo. What is your focus?
The building and the fence could be cropped off to focus on the cliff or the rocks below.   Posted: 07/23/2021 18:45:31

Hi Don,
I'm late getting my comments in as well. I like your composition and the exposure. I agree with Lisa as far as what is the main subject. I was wondering if there was something of interested to the right that may have been included.   Posted: 07/24/2021 09:43:20
