Nice capture Robert, feels like one of mine! Houses have the same feel from about but such differences in driveways and back yards. Do all driveways lead to a gravel road? no sidewalk or lane markings?   Posted: 06/08/2021 15:28:52

Lisa, yep. This plat was developed on the cheap. There are only 14 Lots in the Plat. We have to support the road, well, water system repairs, State imposed administrative costs associated with the well system, "Fire Wise Landscaping", and a few other costs with dues from 14 Lots. We are also sweating out whether or not adjacent land will be developed. If it is developed, the road access is through our plat. I don't want to see paving destroyed by heavy equipment trucks.
I'm trying to sell a dues increase to $100.00 a month, but it's tough. On the other hand, we are 5 miles out of town, and enjoy quiet nights, wild game munching on our landscaping, farms surrounding us, so sparse population; and a decent enough view.

Looks like a nice place to live... I like your landscaping in the house on the left... and I like Lou's suggestion to flip it over with the driveways at the bottom.   Posted: 06/30/2021 20:08:43

Bob, sorry for the late comment. Which house is your? I had to look up "plat". I guess that shows my poor vocabulary. :-)

Back to the photo. I like the symmetry you captured. from a documentation perspective, it clearly shows the different model floorplans, it appears. As always, I am curious as to how high you were when you captured the image?   Posted: 06/16/2021 18:47:04

Don,

I don't know the altitude, but the wide part of the image is about 325-345 feet. The Drone camera has the same angle of view as a 24mm lens on a 35mm film camera.

My home is on the far left. I put in too much grass for this location. But, being a Seattle transplant, one doesn't always pick up on the water conservation protocols in a timely manner. At least I have a pump connected to an Irrigation Utility and 1 acre foot of water ration per 5 month season. Things run well enough....when the Utility does its part, which is .....sometimes.   Posted: 06/16/2021 19:23:16

Interesting image Bob. It almost seems like a scene from a model railroad set up. I like all the lines and such, to me it has a graphics feel to it. I think it would be better flipped over, with the drive ways at the bottom, as it is I feel like I am looking at it upside down.   Posted: 06/18/2021 10:51:48
