Straight down shot of the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh. This was the opening weekend of the Spring Flower show which was all inside. No signs of new flowers or plantings outside. I didn't realize how symmetrical the building was, but the path inside does follow that pattern.

Lisa,

I really like is image. You flew your drone at just the right altitude and or cropped to capture the entire building. I also liked the level of color saturation.   Posted: 05/10/2021 17:01:06

Hi Don,
I added my original shot above. I believe I was just under 400 feet, as high as I could go to just fit it in. Once I straightened it, I lost some of the sides. Have to get better at doing that in-camera. And I'd like to go back sometime when there is some better color. Thanks!

Hi Lisa, I think this is a great image. I love the composition and the colors. I have taken a few images and then merged them when I could not got the entire subject in one image. Trying to tightly frame an image with a drone is not easy.   Posted: 05/27/2021 11:36:38
